Encouraging Stable Tenancies and Preventing Eviction

Representative from the Tenant Resource & Advisory Centre (TRAC) will explain the law as it relates to evictions, including the proper eviction process, timelines for disputing evictions, recent changes to rules regarding "renovictions," and penalties for illegal evictions. The goal of this session is to encourage stable tenancies and the prevention of evictions by better understanding not only the law, but also the intersection of challenges faced by tenants living in non-profit housing.

BC Housing Non-Profit Portal Training

BC Housing is continuously striving towards improving ways to support the Non-profit housing sector. Based on feedback collected from the sector, it was determined that better tools were required to assist with the communication and collaboration between BC Housing and the Non-Profits. BC Housing, with support from BCNPHA, is pleased to announce that they have developed an online Non-Profit portal to streamline the budget process and simplify the communication and exchange of documents between BC Housing and Non-Profits
